Reception

All participants of Evolang X are invited to the official reception hosted by the City of Vienna. It will take place on Monday evening in the City Hall (Rathausplatz 1, 1010 Vienna), which was built in the late nineteenth century in historicist-gothical style. Free of charge. Registration possible until April 6.

Conference dinner

For Evolang X's conference dinner on Wednesday evening, we are happy to invite you to Mayer am Pfarrplatz, a traditional Viennese Heuriger (Pfarrplatz 2, 1190 Vienna). It is located in the outskirts of Vienna, which are famous for their rural architecture and old vineyards. EUR 50,00. Registration possible until April 6.

City walk

On Thursday afternoon you can join a guided walking tour through the historical city centre of Vienna, World Heritage Site since 2001. It is enclosed by the Ringstraße, which replaced the old city walls in the nineteenth century. EUR 10,00. Registration possible until March 30.

Schönbrunn Zoo

Founded in the middle of the eighteenth century, Schönbrunn Zoo is the world's oldest zoo. We are happy to take you to the Old Apehouse (Altes Affenhaus) for a guided thematic tour focussing on apes and monkeys. The tour will take place on Thursday afternoon. EUR 20,00. Registration possible until March 30.

Leopold Museum

In addition to temporary exhibitions, Leopold Museum permanently hosts collections by Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele, the main representatives of modern Austrian art of the early twentieth century. Feel free to join a guided tour through the museum on Thursday afternoon. EUR 15,00. Registration possible until March 30.

Coffee-house tour

Viennese coffee houses form an integral part of Viennese culture. In a guided tour, which will take place on Thursday afternoon, you will visit and learn about Vienna's most famous coffee houses and be able to relax while having one of the numerous Viennese coffee specialities. EUR 20,00. Registration possible until March 30.

Walking tour through the Wienerwald

The Wienerwald (Vienna Woods), Vienna's largest recreation area, is said to be the "green lung" of the city. On Thursday afternoon we will take you on a walk through the woods and up the Kahlenberg hill, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city. Afterwards, we are going reap the fruits of our labour and have a glass of wine in a traditional Heuriger at the foot of the hill. Free of charge (excl. drinks), weather permitting. Registration possible until March 30.
